Our Story

Hi, I’m Beverly, the creator and candle maker behind Love and Wick Studio,  a small-batch candle business born from my love of connections, seasons and the simple beauty of slowing down.

Based in Aberdeen, Scotland I’ve spent over 25 years working in NHS, health and care. Along the way, I’ve learned how important it is to create peace and comfort, and find joy in the little things. Love and Wick grew from that understanding, and from my own search for creativity and calm.

Each candle I pour is inspired by moments of love and nostalgia; from the scent of a that first date coffee to the feeling of travelling with your loved ones. Every scent tells a little love story, designed to stir emotion and spark memories.

At Love and Wick Studio the following is important:

• Sustainability - using eco-friendly materials and plant based waxes that are kind to the planet. Our wax and fragrances are ethically sourced, responsibly farmed and as natural as possible.

• Connection - creating scents that brings people joy through memories that speak to the heart.

• Craft & Love - our candles are handpoured in small batches with care, attention, and a little love.

My mission is simple, to craft candles that don’t just smell beautiful, and are kinder to the planet (and you), but also make you feel something. Whether it’s joy, comfort, peace, or love, I want every scent to create a moment worth savouring.​
