Frequently asked questions
We use high-quality Coconut Soy wax because it burns cleaner, produces less soot, and is generally safer and healthier for indoor environments.
Our formulations are designed to be safe, but because individual sensitivities vary, we always recommend doing a small test first, especially if you or household members have fragrance sensitivities.
Yes, trimming the wick to about 5mm before every burn helps reduce smoke or soot, and prolongs the life of your candle.
The first burn is very important: allow the melt pool to reach the edges so the candle “learns” the correct boundary. If the wax never reaches edges, it can tunnel over time.
Candles should always be used with care: never leave them unattended, and keep them out of reach of children and pets. Our candles are toxin-free (when used properly), but they are still fire hazards and should be treated as such.
Once fully burned, you can clean out the jar (scrape any leftover wax, use hot soapy water) and reuse or recycle it.
